Madam/Sir,
1. XVII National Jamboree of BS&G at Jaipur
With reference to above referred Circulars and
subject cited above , the 17th National Jamboree of Bharat Scouts
and Guides is scheduled to be held at Mahendra SEZ, Ajmer Road, Jaipur from 3rd
January to 9th January 2014. In this Jamboree nearly 25000 (Twenty
Five Thousand) Scouts & Guides and adult leaders are expected to
participate from 44 Indian States & UTs and other countries.

has been given a quota of participants. KVS has been allotted a quota of 634
(six hundred thirty four only) participants. The breakup of quota allotted is

Besides above in-charges of various activities, it will be a collective
responsibility of the KVS Contingent to put up a remarkable show in the
Jamboree. Contingent Leaders will ensure
that services of all escorts are suitably utilized in the benefit of KVS State
BS&G.
The Deputy
Commissioners of Region Concerned are requested to depute the above officials
(I/C) as escort with Contingent of their respective Region.
2. Pre- Jamboree of KVS State BS&G:-
A
Pre-Jamboree of KVS State BS&G will be held at K.V No.1 Jaipur. The purpose
of the Pre-Jamboree is to plan meticulously and prepare the KVS State
contingent to compete and win prizes in the XVII National Jamboree. The
schedule of the Pre-Jamboree is as following-

Activities:-- All activities mentioned above (in National Jamboree) will be
held in the Pre-Jamboree. There may not be any competition but a group of Scouts/Guides
under I/C of an activity and a few more Scout Masters / Guide Captains will
plan and practice the activity. The same group will participate (in respective
activity) in the completion during XVII National Jamboree.

Notes-
1.
T.A/D.A- D.A during
the Pre-Jamboree & Jamboree will be met out of Scout & Guide Divisional Association Fund of Region
Concerned and Journey DA & TA for the Scouts/Guides shall be met out of
Vidyalaya concerned of the respective regions. DA & TA to the escorting
teachers and other officials shall be met out of School fund of their
respective KVs, ROs & KVS HQ (as the case may be).
2. All other expenditure in connection
with Pre-Jamboree & Jamboree Initially, all
expenditure (including Transportation, Camp fee, Registration fee and material
cost, Pre-Jamboree bag, diary, scarf & woggle and rentals etc.) in connection with the XVII National
Jamboree & Pre-Jamboree Rally shall
be met from Divisional Association Fund of Jaipur Division and bills shall be
submitted for the re-imbursement from State Association Fund of KVS State BS&G,KVS
Hqs New Delhi.
3.
Track Suits, Shoes, Bag, Scarf & woggle,
Pre-Jamboree Diary, ID Card etc be provided to all participants of Pre-Jamboree
& National Jamboree. This would give the KVS Contingent a different and new
look. The entire expenditure to procure track suits etc. initially would be
borne by KVS RO, Jaipur (by following proper purchase procedure) and reimbursed
from KVS State BS&G Fund, KVS HQs New Delhi after submission of bills. An
amount of Rs. 1500=00 (Rs. One thousand five hundred only) per participant has
been fixed for this purpose.(Ref:- Letter No F.110353/11/2014-KVS

4.
A regional level Organising team of KVS Jaipur
region may also be formed to make suitable preparations for the Pre-Jamboree.
5.
The Deputy Commissioner, KVS (RO) Jaipur is
requested to make adequate arrangements for the board and lodging during
Pre-Jamboree & Jamboree. He is also requested to make arrangements for
transporting the KVS contingent to Jamboree venue on 02.01.2015 and their
return on 09.01.2015.
6.
There shall be two quarter masters (one for each
wing) who shall be entrusted with the responsibility of stores and food supply
to be deputed by the Deputy Commissioner, Jaipur Region.
7.
SOC(S/G) & STC(S/G) should report on 26th December 2014 at venue, so
that all preparations are once again checked before the actual event and
sufficient time is available for any improvement, if needed.
